I'd like to implement a new skillshot system. Is it possible?

So, first of all, a pleasure to be here and forgive me for my lack of skill. Maybe the solution to my conundrum is easier thank I think.
I wanted to make a game that used a homebrew type of skillshot that uses cumulative successes through D6s.
Though I see that skillshots, skills and how they work are deeply tied to a certain type of system.
So, yeah, basically, is it possible to create a new system for dice rolls and load it somehow?
It would use two sets of statistics, let’s say: Stats and Trainings.
I should be able to roll a certain number of D6s equal to any combination I can decide of a Stat and a Training.
I’m sure the system itself is quite achievable, as I’ve already done various times, but I don’t really know how to implement it.

sure is possible but, can you tell what system is? maybe how many dices are grether or equal at a number?

Hello, thanks for answering.

Basically the idea is having two sets of statistics, up to 6 points each.

Let’s say we got [STR, DEX, INT] and [Weapons, Subterfuge, Academics].

When calling a check roll, for example DEX + Academics, you’d roll a number of d6 equal to the sum of the stats.

Numbers from 4 and above give you a Success.

1s remove one Success.

6s let you roll another die.

This would be the basic check roll without any modification.

So the player would need to obtain a certain number of Successes to pass a check.
