Hi, I just started messing around on Narrat because I want to make a VN but I am not very tech-savy. II finally managed to get electron to work to test my lines but I tried to change a line (of text/dialogue) because it was wrong, but when I run electron again it doesn’t updade. I don’t actually know what the issue might be from, I don’t have consol errors or it not running, it just doesn’t update changes for some reasons.

Electron: 4.0.0

NPM 11.19.0

I’m using visual studio code, but Narrat desktop editor is also installed, but on it it just say’s “localhost refused to connect” on the right side.

Update: I created a new folder and demo and restarted and now it’s updating. So I guess I messed up something without realising.

Thank you a lot

Glad you got it working. When edits don’t show up, it’s often a stale dev server or a cached build still being served from the old folder. Next time, try stopping everything, restarting the dev command from the project root, and hard-refreshing (Ctrl+Shift+R) before digging deeper.
